The Engagement Programme is to provide a structured and safe environment during the school holidays.
The Engagement Programme is also a fundamental aspect of the contact time between TYLA staff, facilitators and the tamariki and rangitahi.
The Engagement Programme is designed to reinforce TYLA values, boundaries and to provide respite care for families. As well as this, the Programme is to teach tamariki and rangatahi life skills – to be physically active and to demonstrate teamwork whilst having a good time.
